Explore Safeguarding in RDA
Safeguarding is never an easy topic to consider, or rather the consequence of not having safeguarding in place.
At RDA we pride ourselves with providing a safe environment for all involved; riders, drivers, coaches, volunteers and staff.
What Topics Will You Cover?
This course is designed to develop an awareness of, and the ability to act on, concerns about the safety and welfare of children, adults at risk and all involved with RDA sessions
What Will You Achieve?
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to…
- Define what is meant by safeguarding in RDA
- Understand how to respond to a safeguarding concern
- Spot signs of potential abuse
- Take steps to create a safe environment at your group
Who Is The Course For?
This course is designed for RDA Coaches and Safeguarding officers. Coaches and Safeguarding Officers must attend a face to face safeguarding course for their first certificate and each alternate renewal. Our new ‘Safeguarding for Everyone’ course for all volunteers is coming soon.
