Disability Awareness is an important part of being an RDA Volunteer. Having an awareness of how an impairment can impact on an individual’s life, what barriers disabled people face and how to overcome them can ensure you are comfortable and confident in your role as an RDA Volunteer supporting disabled people to ride and drive.
What Topics Will You Cover?
This course will provide a basic introduction to the subject and aims to equip you as an RDA volunteer with an awareness of disability that will support you in providing the best possible experience for riders and drivers.
